“but we only need one!” Jared exclaimed as we kept strolling thru the park. Kinda quiet and reserved we got some really nice images for his senior pics….

Calender Girls show off their wings
It was a marvelous party….Angel Care’s angels showed off their “Wings of Courage” in the just released calendar for 2014 at The Bellevue Club. Friends, family and fans were on hand to meet and greet the ‘angels’, sip Girly Girl wine and have their photo taken in front of a set of wings carved in ice! Calendars are on sale now for only $15.
Ladies of Boeing
I was tickled when my dear client Jan called and asked if I could give some photography pointers to her group of friends. We met up at Endolyne Joe’s for a nice lunch and then headed over to Lincoln Park. Everyone brought their camera of choice: from iphones to ipads, from point and shoot to DSLR. We talked about the all the dials on the camera and how they could be used to improve their photos. The beautiful flowers caught everyone’s attention so we experimented with those selecting our close up dials and wow – they got some nice images! Of course we had to head down to the water as well. Here’a nice little group shot of the ‘ladies of Boeing’….
Carrie’s Senior Session
Carrie will graduate from Holy Names. We met up at Lincoln Park. She spent much of her childhood playing on the slides and swings so she was right at home. Her easy going smile made for some great shots. Mother nature provided soft overhead light and gentle breezes.
Camas and Seattle welcome delegation from Poland
The Mayors of cities: Zabierzow, Krapkowice and Morawica were hosted in the Seattle area by the Camas Sister Cities. The Polish American Chamber of Commerce held an evening reception where representatives of local Polish associations were able to meet and greet this delegation from Poland. Their schedules were busy with visits to Microsoft, Boeing, Coast Guart and Polish Festival in Portland.
Angel Care Breast Cancer Calendar to be unveiled
Ol’ blue eyes
Brannden has the most intense blue eyes so shooting in the late evening on Alki certainly enhanced them. While he goes to school in Kirkland he also spends time over in West Seattle. He loves the water and participates in sports like basketball and tennis.
Fun in the sun
I met Natalia and Carson at the water in Lincoln Park for our photo shoot. Carson was more interested in scouring the stones for jellyfish and such so I got plenty of interaction shots of brother and sister. Natalia was willing to ‘pose on command’ and showed off her cute smile. I managed to catch fleeting smiles of Carson on the run. Mom felt glad that we got this session done in time for the holidays….yes the holidays! Can you say ‘christmas cards!’.
The boys from Poland
There may have been a language barrier but boys will boys no matter where they are from! My friend Basia was visiting from Krakow for a month and I had a very brief opportunity to (try) capture some images of the boys. They were a little rambunctious so we decided to just let them play in the park across the street. For a 15 minute shoot we got some great shots. Have a safe trip home, boys!
Off to college so one last family photo
Lifechanging moments are usually a good time to catch up with family photos. Maddie is off to college in the next couple weeks son mom decided to gather everyone up. Their casual, relaxed style of living made for cool backdrops around the house. Even let the dog get up on the couch for once! And I couldn’t resist an artsy fartsy shot of Maddie in grandma’s chair. Wonder which of the boys gets Maddie’s old room?
