We met down on Alki and then moved on to the Alki Tavern (not to drink!) just to use the eclectic outdoor ambiance to enhance Alaina’s beautiful eyes and golden hair! Striking dont’ you think? I was honored to be asked to photograph the ‘Blessing’ for little Vivian Elizabeth July 5th at Pritchard Beach. Close family and friends arrived to wish her the best in life. Celebrant Lyn Miletich of “Ceremonies by Design” led the blessing. Her brother, Chef Dan prepared the menu but I was told the little cousins prepared the cupcakes! Papa Mitchelli served the guests a very precious bottle of wine bought years ago in Italy and dedicated to a special event in daughter Dana’s life, Vivian’s Blessing – delicioso! Mom owns Angelina’s Trattoria in West Seattle where even the smallest bambinos are welcome! And brother Seth owns Collins Pub in Pioneer Square. Wonder what kind of work Vivian will do when she grows up:)
Back in May I spent the day up north in the tulip fields and came across a funky little place known as “The Conway Muse”. They host live productions, art shows, auctions, private parties and a coffee and tea bar. It’s located in the old auction barn on Main Street in Conway. We got to meet Elfa, the new owner and Diane, the resident muse! We even got to sit in on an audition – a magician! I hope he got the gig! Carin and her husband have moved to Albuquerue, New Mexico. Leaving family behind would be difficult. But, she asked me to stop by just hours before all the kids got done packing up the house and their last supper in their Seattle home…We took some fun shots of all the kids and grandkids having fun and saying good-bye. Here’s some fun pics…
