Amulya said she’d been waiting four years to have her senior photos taken and enjoyed her session just as much as I did. Her smile was contagious as romped through the Arboretum at West Seattle Community College (where her mom is a teacher!) We talked about her love of country music (mine too!) so I hope y’all enjoy this video montage with a country flair. Barefootin’ with Amulya (Click here).

Claudia’s Senior session
Claudia was a delightful subject. Having gone to modeling school she was a dream in front of the camera. We headed over to the Arboretum at South Seattle Community College. We had plenty of backgrounds to choose from and she had plenty of outfits to change into!

Alayna’s Senior Pics
It’s always a pleasure working with clients over again. I photographed Alayna’s sister a couple years ago and now it’s her turn to graduate. We ventured into different parts of Lincoln Park and then onto Lowman Beach for some fun images. Enjoy this video collage of our shoot.
and baby will make four!
I photographed LaDonna and Paul’s wedding several years ago. It’s wonderful to watch their families grow and be called upon to honor their family moments. Here’s little Evan enjoying his last few weeks as an only child…

Seattle Gdynia Sister City celebrates 20th Anniversary
It was a gathering of Seattle Gdynia Sister City members to celebrate 20 years of accomplishments by civilian ambassadors to Gdynia, Poland. Our special guest was Joanna Leman, Foreign Relations Department Manager, City of Gdynia, Poland. She presented some very special gifts to the association including a lovely glass sculpture congratulating us on our 20 years of service. Past SGSCA Presidents were recognized and each expressed unique stories pertaining to their involvement. You can view all the images by clicking here.
A blast from the past
Don’t ya just love finding cool stuff? I was very excited when I got the call from the Fauntleroy Children’s Center saying they had uncovered a chalkboard from 1939 behind some walls they were tearing down. I ran up there and was just delighted at what I saw. I could just imagine a room full of little kids taking part in their lesson. In fact, I wonder who Don Joseph and Larry are? I understand that one never wanted to find their name on this list….hmmmmm.

Route 66: Oatman – Kingman – Seligman
Vintage peeks along the original “Mother Road”

As a photographic artist I am always looking for new and exiciting ways to present the world around us. I took a little road trip of my own and followed the Mother Road thru Oatman, Kingman and Seligman with my Lensbaby. What is a lensbaby? It’s a lens monuted on a plastic bellows. You manually focus by pushing, pulling and bending until you find a part of your image that will be in focus, called the ‘sweet spot’. The remaining areas of the image are soft and blurred, creating unique, eye-catching images.
Generations old and new will always be in awe of Route 66 which lead travelers over 2,448 miles of continuous highway between Chicago and Los Angeles. For decades, this historic path served thousands who were migrating west, especially during the Dust Bowl of the 1930’s. I hope you enjoy the images presented at the Kenney and that you’ll feel as though you travelled that road as well.
Lee Johnson Chevrolet is 78!
Lee Johnson has been making wishes come true since 1933! I was on hand to photograph his vintage car collection and greet some happy clients during their 78th Birthday bash. Click here for a short video.
Allie’s senior pics
It’s never too late for senior portraits. Allie was a delight to photograph. Her easy smile made my job so easy! We traversed Lincoln Park from top to bottom along with the Jess and mom. Click here for Allie’s Video!
Taste of West Seattle
The Taste of West Seattle is an annual benefit for the West Seattle Helpline. Started in 1989 the organization provides emergency assistance to neighbors in need. This particular event provided a great opportunity for some 400 ‘neighbors’ to sample the best fare from West Seattle Restaurants and caterers. This charming cake was created by the Sugar Rush Baking Company. To view all the images from the event CLICK HERE!
