This is what happens when you ask 5 young cousins to pose for photos! A simple game of Simon Says brought a little more order to the gathering but frankly, I LOVE the silly ones!

Soccer anyone?
Looks like the family that plays together stays together! Working with the same families year after year is very exciting. You never know what kind of “phase” they will be going through at any given time when they are ready for the annual family portrait. The girls schedules are now filled with soccer games on weekends. Mom and dad sneak off to a Sounders game every now and then. Go Team Anawalt!
and baby will make four!
I photographed LaDonna and Paul’s wedding several years ago. It’s wonderful to watch their families grow and be called upon to honor their family moments. Here’s little Evan enjoying his last few weeks as an only child…

Still in love after 60 years
Little did I realize I was crashing the party (I was looking for the ribbon cutting ceremony) but lucky for me I knew Andy and his family! Turns out they were celebrating his parents 60th – Yes 60th! Anniversary. Naturally I couldn’t let such an occasion slip by without taking a few photos for their family archives. Looks like the couple still loves to have fun!
Meet Sabine!
First comes loves, then comes marriage, then comes Sabine in a baby carriage! I photographed Kate & Amit’s wedding a couple of years ago. I was so happy when they called to say they had a new member of the family….little Sabine. What a beautiful name…for a beautiful baby. Here’s our first session together. We’ve already got the next one planned with her and Joey – the family dog! Can’t wait.
Family Fun with the Anawalts
I get to photograph the Anawalt family every couple of years. The girtls are growing into their personalities as you can see from these images. They certainly kept me entertained during our session and it shows! Here’s a few of my favorites plus a video!

The Mummy Wrap
It was a dark and windy night as I walked up the driveway to the Weeks mansion and met all the witches and goblins in the neighborhood. Treats included pizza and brownies followed by the mummy wrap! Enjoy this little video. You can see the rest of the pics at: http://www.gailannphotography.com/WeeksHalloween/

The formal side of the Carnevali Family
I first met this family about 2-3 years ago. Our first session was done in the home on a more casual basis. This time around mom decided formal was the way to go. Sofia couldn’t wait to put on her blue dress that she found in Italy! Here’s is our formal yet fun studio session!

2+1=3 cute little girls!
Mom called because the weatherman said it would be warm and overcast – the perfect day for a family portrait. Instead we got warm, windy and sunny! But we all persevered and got some darling images of the twins with their new baby sister who’s only 2 months old.
Meet Edie
Katie wanted some photos of Edie as she celebrates her first year. We met at the beach and did some images of Edie exploring her surroundings, playing with dad and then some family pics too! Cute..don’t ya think…
