Meet Joshua

I haven’t seen Sally and her family in about a year and a half now.  She’s been busy – and I got to meet Joshua, who is four months old for the first time.  We tried to do alot of imagery in a short period of time…pics of Joshua by himself (cute!), then the 3 kids together, the kids alone, the family….well, you get it!  And here are the results!

I hope you enjoy this little video showcasing Torin and his parents. Torin has some great expressions even if he was fighting a little cold.

It’s a dog’s life

Meet Lizzie. She is 13 years young and mom thought it was time for that classic portrait!  Between sniffing out every corner and playing with my stuffed bunny we got some really nice images. Take a peek…

Alex makes a new friend

This was the first time Alex and I met. Mom and dad came along for the ride as we explored the beach area. Our first encounter was the friendly neighborhood cat who kept us company for awhile before finding better pastures.  Alex enjoyed himself and we got some wonderful images to share with family and friends.

Family fun with the Allen’s

As a photographic artist my job is to keep my eyes open and capture moments. That is exactly what happened with the Allen family. You can’t always tell small children to sit and smile so my aim was to watch and snap!  I think we got some lovely images that capture the family dynamics. It’s all about family

I’ve been photographing Angie and the kids for the past few years. Once again I was asked to join them for an afternoon of family play at their home. Now Mason is a character and he warms up to me pretty good and becomes a big ‘ham’! Nolan is a little more serious so we really had to work him over! All in all we had a fun time!

Motorcycle madness

When Carolyn called to arrange for a portrait session we almost did it in the studio; until I found out that they both ride bikes! Motorcycles, that is. I said I wouldn’t do it unless I could come and photograph them on their bikes since its such a major part of their lifestyle. Johnny has been riding for years and teaches motorcycle saftey. Some day they hope to bike through New Mexico so I came up with this charming piece of artwork for them:

Barb, Greg and sons!

It’s almost time for the oldest son to be going off to college so mom asked me to come by and take some family photos knowing that from here on out it would be a challenge to get them all in the same place at the same time. We choose to stay right at home and came up with some nice images. Have you had your family portrait done lately? Give us a call: 206-371-0585

Tiny Blessings

I was honored to be asked to photograph the ‘Blessing’ for little Vivian Elizabeth July 5th at Pritchard Beach. Close family and friends arrived to wish her the best in life. Celebrant Lyn Miletich of “Ceremonies by Design” led the blessing. Her brother, Chef Dan prepared the menu but I was told the little cousins prepared the cupcakes! Papa Mitchelli served the guests a very precious bottle of wine bought years ago in Italy and dedicated to a special event in daughter Dana’s life, Vivian’s Blessing – delicioso! Mom owns Angelina’s Trattoria in West Seattle where even the smallest bambinos are welcome! And brother Seth owns Collins Pub in Pioneer Square. Wonder what kind of work Vivian will do when she grows up:)
