It was a fine day for meeting up with Dianna and her son Joel who is now a senior. I’ve photographed all her boys since they were born so capturing his essence was easy.

Meet Henry
I can’t remember the last time I photographed Henry but I knew it was him the minute we met. He’s got the same contagious smile as his mom! To get a serious ‘look’ was not easy but, that’s okay with me and mom.
Leigland photo day!
Since it has been a while since I last photographed the Leigland family and it was time for Olie’s senior pics we decided to photograph everybody – including the family dog. We traversed Lincoln Park and captured all sorts of groupings. Olie graduates from O’Dea High School and will attend Montana State University.
Loyola bound!
It’s that time of year when parents and high school grads trek across the country in search of the perfect college. Jack found his at Loyola University Chicago. But before he goes, mom wanted some high school graduation photos to mark the occasion. A graduate of O’Dea High School and active in sports I’m sure his future is bright. Congratulations!
Kayat’s Senior Pics
As I always say, it’s never too late for senior pics! Kayat graduates in June, THIS June! So we headed to Lincoln Park for some photos. This tall, casually dressed young man has the most disarming smile! He was easy to work with and took everything in stride as we wandered the park.
Senior Session with Sofia
I did a business headshot of mom awhile back and was pleasantly surprised to have her call and set up our time with Sofia. The family spent a lot of time exploring Fauntleroy Park as the kids grew up so this was the perfect place for us to shoot on this softly overcast day. I just love her easy smile. Sofia will graduate from Vashon High School and plans to further her education studying political science.
Keegan’s Senior Pics
I was reminded that I last photographed Keegan when he was 6 months old during a family session – look at him now! A little quiet yet he was comfortable in front of the camera as we wandered through Lincoln Park on this wonderful overcast day. He will be graduating from West Seattle Lutheran High and intends to pursue the trades where I’m sure he will find much success.

I’ve photographed Wyatt and his brother over the years and now it’s time for senior pics. How time flies! A handsome young man, we headed over to the park and did a walk from top to bottom. He’s into golf and tennis making the images more meaningful. Here’s a peek….
Vanessa moves with grace
Vanessa is a senior at Holy Names. She is a dancer and had a strong vision of what she wanted to accomplish as we moved through Lincoln Park close to sunset. I think you’ll agree she’s a graceful young woman. Here are my favorite images:
Katherine’s Senior Session
It’s been a great weekend for senior portraits; especially outside here in West Seattle. I had the pleasure of working with Katherine, a senior at Chief Sealth High School. We took a walk through Lincoln Park stopping at some of my favorite spots and ended down by the water. Hey, if you are wondering where the Fauntleroy white swans went – they’ve been relocated to Vashon Island and are doing well!
