The Merlino family decided to have a family portrait taken at the same time as we did Clara’s senior photos. While the morning was gray and rainy the afternoon turned out beautiful as we headed over to the arboretum at SSCC. An easy-going group, we worked quickly to catch as much late afternoon sun as possible. Here’s a peek at Clara’s senior photos.

On top of Queen Anne
We tried to get together on Sunday but due to mechanical breakdown had to postpone until today. The weather still held even though it was cloudy and we captured some really nice images of Audrey atop Queen Anne hill. Having grown up in the neighborhood it only made sense to stroll down the avenue….
Ashley’s Senior Pics
Ashley’s smile is so captivating! I only did three serious ones of her! Ashley was easy and fun to work with as you can see from her little video and these favorites of mine!

Madeline at Alki
It’s never too late for senior portraits! Madeline’s mom found me through her hairdresser, Taylor, whose wedding I did about 7(?) years ago! Thank you Taylor!
Madeline and I met on Alki and did some creative work on the pier close to Salty’s and then moved down to the ‘anchor’ where the sun came out and we did some fun stuff close to the water.

Blake’s Graduation Video
It’s always fun to watch my clients grow up…I met Blake just a couple years ago when we did a surprise group photo of all the brothers and sisters for their dad for Father’s Day. Mom loved ’em too and wouldn’t let Blake go anywhere else when it was time for graduation photos. Guys usually don’t care one way or the other if they have photos taken or not so I try to make it quick and painless with a little fun thrown in…here’s what we got!

I first photographed Andrew in a family portrait a couple years ago. Next up was his brother Joe’s senior pics and now it’s time for Andrew! And what could be better than photographing him with his grandfather’s red 1995 Ford pickup!
Luke’s Senior Pics
Guys are fun to shoot especially when they are a easy to work with as Luke.
Luke brought in a wardrobe of tee’s and henley’s plus his tennis racket and paintball uniform!
Emilie’s Senior Pics
Seniors are fun to photograph, especially when they are as cute as Emilie. She had no clue what to expect and the two of us worked well together creating some rather nice images for her family and friends. I created the ‘announcement’ above that can be customized with any sort of message she might want. These are perfect to send to family commemorating the big event! Below is a a ‘matted’ image of Emily in black and white. Color, sepia, black and white, you name it, we can create it!
