There’s nothing like tradition. And the West Side Mops have created just that with their annual MOPS Tea fundraiser. Over 100 friends, family, mothers and daughters sat down to an afternoon filled with good company, good conversation, delicious treats and of course tea. The beautiful tabletops expressed the artistic side of the guests. Once again, I was on hand to capture their ‘traditional’ event photos. Sales were donated back to the West Side Mops. Remember the days…when little girls couldn’t wait to get into grandma’s closet and try on all those jewels and hats? Well, girls of every age got to do that at the West Side Women’s Spring Tea! Table were decorated with antique and modern day teapots. Cranberry scones, cucumber-mint tea sandwiches, orange-cardamom cupcakes were served up with finesse – YUM! And I donated my time and proceeds to West Side MOPS for the fun photo opportunity. You can view all the images by clicking here: http://www.gailannphotography.com/WSeaTea2010/
