A pre-concert reception hosted by the Seattle Symphony and the Consulate General of Poland in Los Angeles was held in the Norcliffe Founders Room at Benaroya Hall before an amazing performance by Agata Zubel; a Polish-born composer and soprano. She is in Seattle to perform the world premiere of her orchestral work, In the Shade of an Unshed Tear. Distinguished guests included the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Poland in Seattle, members of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Seattle, Angelo Condello of the Seattle Music Exchange, Moises Himmelfarb-Cultural Affairs, Consulate of Mexico to name a few plus numerous music lovers from the local Polish community.
