Thank you for participating in Gail Ann’s Holiday Pop-Up at the Fauntleroy Schoolhouse. While Santa may not have been there in person his ‘spirit’ and the spirit of giving certainly was! Together we raised $250 for FSCA to distribute to the needy in our community. And, you donated over 100 pounds of food, baby supplies, and pet food! Thank you for helping to make it a brighter holiday for others.
Carnival de FCC – Come Celebrate
March 24th was the 25th Annual Auction and Dinner for the Fauntleroy Children’s Center that benefits the children, families and staff of FCC. Many local celebrities were in attendance including Bob Watt, Auctioneer; King TV’s Jim Dever and former mayor Greg Nickels.
The “Carnival” theme was exciting with brightly colored banners and stilt walkers! But I think my favorite part is the Dessert Dash! Lots of money is raised as tables pool their monies to try and get their favorite desserts. Early on you could find guests studying the table and eyeing their first choice. No one was disappointed. I think this cake says it best:
Don’t ya just love finding cool stuff? I was very excited when I got the call from the Fauntleroy Children’s Center saying they had uncovered a chalkboard from 1939 behind some walls they were tearing down. I ran up there and was just delighted at what I saw. I could just imagine a room full of little kids taking part in their lesson. In fact, I wonder who Don Joseph and Larry are? I understand that one never wanted to find their name on this list….hmmmmm.
Both the famous and infamous walked the red carpet at the Fauntleroy Children’s Center yearly auction. Once again Jim Dever was on hand to MC the evening filled with Oscar like glamour, good friends, good food, and lots of spending! To see all the auction photos click here!
Fauntleroy Schoolhouse Celebration
Members of the community (young and old) applauded as Dr. Pierce cut the ribbon at the main entrance to the schoolhouse making the acquisition of the building into the hands of the local community official.
Claudine couldn’t stay away. She attended kindergarten at the Fauntleroy School and took some time to wander the halls and reminisce – happy knowing that the school will remain an active hub in her neighborhood.
The Fauntleroy Children’s Center held their annual auction over the weekend. It was a chance for me to meet up with old clients and meet some new ones. The Dessert Dash took in over six grand alone!
Good news is….the city has sold the building to the local community so we will be able to utilize this much loved building for years to come. Good job, all!
The Fauntleroy Children’s Center held it’s annual auction and I was happy to be part of it yet again. We look forward to working with all the families that signed up for the portrait sessions.
Jim Dever and Ariel ham it up at the Fauntleroy Children’s Center 2008 Auction. Gail Ann was represented well by associate photographers Katherine and Ariel. Once again we offered photo sessions with proceeds going to the school! Congrats to those of you who purchased a session. We look forward to working with you soon!
We are happy to email you a file – just ask!
